Starting in 2026, all Sustaining Fund donations will move from Kindful to Zeffy — a platform that passes 100% of your gift to UW Men’s Rugby.
Note: Zeffy may ask if you’d like to leave an optional tip to support their platform. Tips are optional and do not affect your gift to UW Men’s Rugby.
Why We’re Making the Switch
Now that the Badger Men’s Rugby Alumni Association is officially a 501(c)(3), we’re moving our Sustaining Fund donations to Zeffy.

*A quick note about tips on Zeffy
Zeffy is able to offer its platform to nonprofits at no cost by relying on optional tips from donors. When you make a donation, you’ll see the option to leave a tip to support Zeffy’s operations.
Any tip you choose goes to Zeffy, not to UW Men’s Rugby. Tips are completely optional — you can adjust the amount or select $0 and still complete your donation. If you include a tip on a recurring donation, that tip will be charged each month or annually along with your donation. Every dollar you designate for the Badger Men’s Rugby Alumni Association comes directly to our program.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Cancel your existing recurring donation via MUR
If you currently give through MUR, you’ll want to cancel that recurring donation before setting up your Sustaining Fund gift on Zeffy. This helps avoid any overlap and ensures your support continues smoothly.
How to Cancel a Recurring Donation:

Log in to MUR’s donation page to manage your recurring gift.

Sign in using the email address you used when setting up your recurring donation.

Once logged in, navigate to your donor dashboard and look for a section labeled "Recurring Donations", "My Giving", or similar.

Select your active recurring gift and choose Manage, Edit, or Cancel to stop future payments.
Canceling your recurring gift stops future charges. Any donations already made remain on
your giving record.
Step 2: Set up your Sustaining Fund donation on Zeffy

Once your Kindful donation is canceled, you can set up your Sustaining Fund gift on Zeffy.

Choose your donation amount and select "Monthly" or "Annual" if you’d like to give on an ongoing basis.

Complete your payment details and submit your donation.
*Important note about monthly donations:
If you choose a monthly gift, your donation will be processed on the same day of the month that you set it up on Zeffy, For example, setting it up on January 15 means future donations will process on the 15th of each month.
