Our Story
Founded by alumni, for alumni, the UW-Madison Rugby Alumni Association was created to ensure the long-term success of Badger Rugby. We are a passionate community of former players dedicated to preserving the team’s legacy, strengthening connections, and providing essential financial support. Through events, fundraising, and networking opportunities, we aim to keep the spirit of UW Rugby alive for generations to come. More than just a fundraising organization, we are a brotherhood—helping alumni stay connected, fostering lifelong friendships, and celebrating the sport and team that brought us together.

To foster a lifelong bond between UW-Madison Rugby alumni and the program by supporting the team, promoting camaraderie, and ensuring a sustainable financial future.
The Purpose of the Organization

To support and enhance the UW-Madison Men’s Rugby Club through the generosity of alumni and friends.

To provide financial support for coaching, travel expenses, equipment purchases, and administrative costs, ensuring the long-term success of Badger Rugby.
Our Vision
To make the UW Men’s Rugby Club the premier college rugby club in the Big Ten, year in and year out, by providing the needed financial support to maintain a full-time coaching staff, cover equipment, travel expenses, club administration, and scholarships for club recruits.
