Our Story
Founded by alumni, for alumni, the Badger Men’s Rugby Alumni Association was created to ensure the long-term success of Badger Rugby.
We are an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization led by former players who are passionate about preserving the team’s legacy, strengthening lifelong connections, and providing essential financial support.
Through events, fundraising, and networking opportunities, we aim to keep the spirit of Badger Rugby alive for generations to come.
More than just a fundraising organization, we are a brotherhood—helping alumni stay connected, fostering lifelong friendships, and celebrating the sport and team that brought us together.

The Purpose of the Organization

To support and enhance the UW-Madison Men’s Rugby Club through the generosity of alumni and friends.

To provide financial support for coaching, travel expenses, equipment purchases, and administrative costs, ensuring the long-term success of Badger Rugby.
Our Vision
To make the UW Men’s Rugby Club the premier college rugby club in the Big Ten, year in and year out, by providing the needed financial support to maintain a full-time coaching staff, cover equipment, travel expenses, club administration, and support competitive development of the program.
The Badger Mens Rugby Alumni Association is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
and the official owner and operator of badgerrugbyalumni.org.
We are not a department of the University of Wisconsin
and operate as an independent nonprofit organization governed by alumni volunteers.
